The Future-Proof Path | Kathy Kamburis

The Future-Proof Path · Ten weeks, live, small group

A written plan for what comes after graduation, with your child’s name on it.

The free Guide gives you the questions. The program gets your family ready to act on the answers. Over ten weeks, a small group of parents works through it together, live, with me walking each family through their own child’s options week by week. You leave with a written plan your family can act on, not a folder of brochures.

Week 1 to Graduation night

Where families start, and where they finish.

Most parents come in with the same thing: a list of options, a pile of opinions, and a child whose answer changes depending on the day. Three questions get you a clear comparison. They will not sit at your table, settle it when you and your child read the same answer differently, or tell you which blank on the worksheet is the one that will cost you. That is the work we do together.

Week 1

Where you start

  • What you actually know about each option, and what you have been assuming.
  • Options judged by feel, with nobody pricing them the same way.
  • Your money limit unspoken, or never written down.
  • A child who has a job title in mind but has never tested the work.
  • Three voices in the room, and no plan for the conversation.
Graduation night

Where you finish

  • A leading path and a backup, in writing, weighed on what matters most to your family.
  • Every path side by side on the same money lines, ten years out.
  • Your family’s money limit, decided privately.
  • Two real world tests your child has done, and a conversation with someone doing the work.
  • The first three steps on your family calendar, a letter to your child, your printed plan, and a six month check in.

Week by week

Each week finishes one section of your child’s plan.

Each week until Graduation, your family works through a workbook and finishes one section of the written plan. Most weeks also send you out to do one real thing: a test, a conversation, a call.

1

The honest starting point

What you know, and what you have been assuming.

You leave withA Starting Point Audit and the one question your family is really asking.

How safe the work is, and how far your child is from getting in.

You leave withTwo paths in serious play, each with a prep list: classes, experience, shadowing.
3

The money, and the ten years after

Your real ceiling, privately, and payoff out to age 30.

You leave withYour family’s money limit and side by side scenarios.
4

Who is this child?

Your child’s profile, in their own words.

You leave withTwo real world tests for your child, scheduled.

The road nobody priced

One alternative, held to the same standard.

You leave withA conversation with someone actually doing the work.
6

Whose idea the plan really is.

You leave withA planned family conversation, openers practiced.
7

The decision

What matters most to your family, weighed on paper.

You leave withA leading path and a backup, in writing.
8

The roadmap and the what ifs

Who does what, by when, and three what if plans.

Built for this program

Tools that dig into your family’s own answers.

Your answers go into tools I built for this program. They dig into the details and lay out what comes next, step by step. I check every result.

Resilience Score

How safe the work is, and how far your child is from getting in.

Cost vs Payoff

Your real numbers, every path side by side, ten years out.

Fit Map

Built from your child’s own words, not a quiz.

Roadmap

What happens next, step by step, with who and when.

Why it matters: one semester at a Texas public university runs about $15,000. A semester in the wrong major, or a year on a path nobody priced, is exactly the expensive mistake these tools are built to catch.

How it runs

The January group

Ten weeks with a small group of families

Starts Wednesday, January 20, 2027. Get on the list and I will be in touch about the January group.

Private, for families short on time

Crunched for time and cannot wait for January?

I take a few families privately now, usually seniors who need a fast-track plan. We decide on the call whether that is the right fit.

The call is free, thirty minutes, phone or video. Or call or text 512-222-3306.

Not ready for any of that? Start with the free Guide. It works on its own.
